All users have been sent their passwords and have access to their pages! Some of the first pages we created need to update their statistics. Go to pages and your page will come up. Make sure you update your page after you edit it!
Next we need everyone with a page to add the Circus Hub facebook page to their friends. When we have enough interface between the two sites, we will begin to sync…
The Circus Hub has generated over 100 pages in 1 month, the facebook Circus Hub page generated over 50 friends in 1 day. The Circus Hub facebook page is on suspension from adding any friends for 2 days, but you can still add the Circus Hub page and we can still confirm. Silly robots, we have already overloaded the system!
Registration is open now and anyone interested can find the registration button in the lower right corner of the page. Our site is operated by Word Press, enter your registration information and it will be sent to us for confirmation. There will be comprehensive directions for building your very own page coming soon.
For now we need to troubleshoot 3 things:
-All of the users for the existing talent pages have been personally sent their passwords. We need to know that you have received your password and can access your page.
-We ask for just a bit more patience from our newest members. We want our instructions for creating a new page to be as comprehensive as possible.
-Each page needs a distinct email address, groups and projects are still getting moderators and log-ins assign to them.
Please send any comments or suggestions to firstname.lastname@example.org
We now have facebook interface with the Circus Hub!
As of yesterday all of the current talent members have their own log-ins and can edit their own pages. We are going to hold off at 100 members for a week or so to get all functionality perfected. We will have directions for new users to create their own pages coming soon!
For all current members: When you add the facebook Circus Hub page as a friend, your newsfeed will automatically be added to the Circus Hub facebook newsfeed. Any posts that you make to the facebook Circus Hub profile will then be posted to the Circus Hub website. This is the name of the game folks, so add the Circus Hub to your friends on facebook and we will begin flow of communication…
Woo Hoo! This site is growing fast and we still have many more fun and functional features to add!
On March 20, the Circus Hub was soft launched at the Humboldt Jugging Festival with 10 members. Over 40 new profiles were added from across the county. Last week more than a dozen performers and members of the Congress of Curious People in Coney Island added their profiles to this growing circus network. Including the members who registered online, we have 92 profiles with a few more still to fill out!
What a success! Thanks for being a part of the fun! We are going to hold off on the calendar system until May 22 when we begin implementing regional diversification and many more surprises!
We have been busy all week gathering profiles at the Congress for Curious People in Coney Island! We have aquired such legends as: The Great Fredini, Serpentina, Adam RealMan, Freak Kings, Shocked and Amazed Magazine and (ahem) living legend Bobby Reynolds!
Registration is now open for the Circus Hub, go to the bottom right hand corner of the page and click the button labeled “Registration.” Your submission will be sent to us for approval, and then you will have personal access to your page. Thanks to everyone who has registered already! We have been very busy this last week and have not gotten to approving anyone, we appreciate your patience as we make everything as functional as possible. Everyone will be approved very shortly!
The site development is moving along at an incredible pace! New edits and applications will be added all throughout the next month. This is the most crucial time for your input, any ideas about functionality, easier navigation, or any fun idea you might have is much appreciated.
Navigation tip: The pages listed on the right of the home page are feature pages. Right now the talent portion is featuring members of the Vulcan crew in Oakland. As new pages come in the featured profiles will be rotated regionally, this will give us a more active way for viewers to browse the site.
